What do you mean ... Agapé?
Agapé, the Greek rendering of the word "love", describes the purest and most powerful form of love: God's self-giving redemptive love for sinners. Unlike self-seeking love, Agapé embraces the lovely as well as the unlovely. Of the trio faith, hope, and love, (I Cor. 13:13), the greatest of these is Agapé, God's divinely expressed love for man. "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
